CHRIS COOK, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Chris Cook has led the company from a 10-person start up to a full-service firm providing engineering services to most of the Tier 1 telecom companies. Chris is an extraordinary leader and industry expert who singlehandedly transformed the Outside Plant engineering industry with the creation of the “Off Prem” engineering model. Under his leadership, CHC perfected this turnkey approach that allows CHC to plan, design and implement engineering solutions from start to finish with minimal oversight from the client.
After studying at Sonoma State University, Chris began his successful telecom engineering career at AT&T.
JERRY COLLAZO, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Jerry began working with CHC in December 2014. Strong growth and successful management were the primary reasons for Jerry joining CHC. Jerry began his career with Ernst & Young. Subsequently, Jerry held various CFO positions in an array of public and private companies, with both domestic and international exposure. With a diverse background, Jerry has infused creativity in the management of CHC’s accounting and administrative functions.
Jerry holds a B.S. from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, an M.B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles and an M.B.T. from Golden Gate University. Jerry is also a CPA in the State of California.
MICHAEL A. WOLF, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Michael’s telecommunications and utility services career began as a construction splicer and has spanned various engineering, program management and leadership roles. Prior to becoming COO, Michael led CHC’s business development initiatives. Prior to joining CHC in 2016, Michael was a vice president at Osmose Utilities Services, where he was responsible for contracts and pricing. From 1999 to 2014, he served in various construction and engineering capacities at AT&T.
Michael holds a B.S. in Business Administration and an MBA from the California State University – East Bay. He serves on various non-profit boards and is a member of the University of California’s Math Engineering and Science Achievement (MESA), Industry Executive Council.
LORRIE POPE, PRESIDENT – AT&T OPERATIONS
Lorrie Pope is the President of AT&T Operations. She is an accomplished leader responsible for overseeing the entire nation-wide AT&T account. She has a hands-on approach to day-to-day operations, and individually trained engineers from the ground-up for Fiber to the Business, Fiber to the Cell Site and OPT-E-MAN projects. Prior to that, she spearheaded the training of engineers for AT&T’s Lightspeed project. She is an expert at managing large and diverse teams, as well as planning and implementing major organizational initiatives. She has a passion for maintaining a team oriented environment, and continues to be an active mentor to all CHC employees.
Prior to joining the CHC team in 2005, Lorrie worked at AT&T as an OSP Engineer responsible for the management and design of Telco facilities for residential customers in South Orange County. Lorrie Pope graduated Chapman University in 1999 with a BA in Public Relations.
JAMES JIRANEK, SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT - ENGINEERING OPERATIONS
James is well versed in the wireline and wireless telecom industries. His ability to recognize opportunity, build teams, create processes and provide a fulfilling work environment has given CHC the diversity it needs to be a stable and sought-after force in the industry. Prior to joining the CHC team in 2011, James worked at AT&T both as an employee and later as a contractor providing OSP Engineering Training, Project Management, Material Management and Process Development.
James holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of California Santa Barbara.
RYAN MATTHEWS, VICE PRESIDENT – CENTURYLINK OPERATIONS
Ryan Matthews started his career journey with AT&T (formerly Southwestern Bell) as a design engineer. During his time at AT&T he held various position, earned an MBA, lead teams in different organizations. In 2016, he left AT&T as the Director of Engineering and Construction to join CHC Consulting as the Vice President - Engineering. CHC Consulting's leadership team, drive to innovate and dedication to service excellence drew him to the firm.
Ryan holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri Rolla and an M.B.A. from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
